Q. Where does our fruit come from?
A. All Grandma Berrie's citrus is grown in the lush Indian River Citrus region in Florida. This is a narrow strip of land located on the Eastern seaboard of Florida. The environmental conditions consisting of the richness in soil, the abundant rainfall, and warm days and cool nights of this region allow us to offer you the finest citrus. The packing facility in Fort Pierce Florida is located in this region. This allows us to pick, pack and ship fruit at its peak of flavor. Only citrus grown in this area can be called Indian River.
Q. Is ordering from GrandmaBerries.com secure?
A. Our site has been designed in a secure environment. All orders are placed through a secure sockets layer (SSL) browser, which scrambles private data such as credit card information. You also will not find credit card data on the online gift list for additional security. Q. What is a HoneyBell?
A. Actually HoneyBells are not oranges at all. They’re a unique natural hybrid of Dancy Tangerine and Duncan Grapefruit, which are both seeded fruit. But…HoneyBells usually have no seeds. These HoneyBells are perfect eating once each year in January. They will not be hurried to maturity and we will not ship the HoneyBells to anyone unless the fruit is perfect.
